As for the torque, it remains the same, standing at 420 lb-ft. During a recent testing session, the automatic Mustang GT convertible reached from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.2 seconds. The manual Bullitt, on the other hand took about 4.6 seconds. As for the manual Mach 1, it was approximately 4.2 seconds.

The GT500 is equipped with a model-specific powertrain setup. This variant is supercharged 5.2L V-8 engine that churns a behemoth figure of 760 horsepower. The torque figure is close to 625 lb-ft, which is all made possible, thanks to a seven-speed dual-purpose clutch.
